3700x open box

I got a line on a 3700x, guy opened the box to check it out but then ended up buying a 3900x instead. CPU is unused and has original cooler, box is just open.

Wants $200 for it....I've never bought a second hand CPU but its seems like a pretty decent deal if it looks on the up and up in person.

Thoughts?

It seems a little on the cheap side. If it is a reputable seller, and you are willing to take a chance on it. Be sure to use proper payment methods to ensure you get a working product, or at least a way to get refunded if its junk. Where is this for sale? Online? Locally?

I've taken risks buying components online, most of the time it was a legit deal. Only have been burned a couple of times. Where is it listed? A lot of places that allow posting of this stuff have safeguards to try and keep everyone legit.
