laptop for programing and games

Hey guys, 

im looking for some laptop with decent spec to do programing in java and more or less c(im student)  .It would be cool if I could play on it from time to time on new games.

I have round 2000$ but if something its really worth it I can squeeze more. I live in Poland so eu market. Laptop should work for me round 4 years so it would be nice if I have 16gb of ram ect.

I've heard about Dell XPS 15 but don't know if it would be good for gaming as well. I know as well about higher price of this model but I think I can squeeze that price

So like you said in the other comment- the XPS 15 isn't a bad idea. Though they do run warm and have some bios problems- but can be fixed 

 

If that's not something you're for- have you considered a notebook with an external GPU?

 

The system would be lighter for campus and you'd still get the benefits of gaming While at home

To be honest ive never worked on egpu and never thought about it. And about Razer ive heard bad coments about problems they have that a Lot of them don't live 3 years even.

And Slottr do You have and recommendations about combo with eGPU?

for battery at least 6hours or more and for weight I don't have max but screen shouldnt be a more than 15.6
