165hz to 240hz is indistinguishable to the human eye, and 200Hz+ is only available in 1080p monitors I believe.

Hello good people of the internet!

 

I'm looking for a new monitor, 27 inches, WQHD, VESA compatible and with a refresh rate as high as possible. Around 240 Hz would be awesome.

 

I wanted to get some recommendations before I blow my savings on just any old monitor.

 

Budget isn't really a criteria.

I am aware that the difference is minimal, but I have the cash to throw around at the moment for the best of the best - so that's what I'm intending to get.

If you really have a hole in your pocket why not go 1440p ultrawide? Also get IPS panel monitors, viewing angles are a lot better.
