I recently picked up a pair of Cooler Master ARGB fans, but I wasn't aware of the 2 types of RGB connectors. The Fans use 3 pin ARGB but my motherboard only has 4 pin RGB ports. Is there any way to light them up?

Specs if they are needed:
Ryzen 5 2600
ASUS Strix B450-F
2x8GB Trident Z RGB @3600mhz
GTX 1060 3GB
EVGA BR 500W

This is not possible as the 3 pin use 5v and the 4 pin use 12

i mean, mine works with that. Yes i heard that 12V hurts the fans and such but hey, no problems for me. I use that method for my water pump also. And yes it runs at 100% but i do not care

I have almost the same adapter that i linked. You could try if it works. Keep in mind the 12V can hurt your fans by breaking them in the long run

the 12 volt pin will instantly kill the 5v RGB
