High Ping in COD MW

Recently I have been averaging higher ping than usual, 60+ with some really bad ping spikes of up to 150 multiple times a minute causing me to rubber band really bad.  Pretty much unplayable.  No one else is using the internet.  My speeds are 200 down 15 up.  I've done packet loss tests through my service provider and they report that there is none.

 

I know this is a bit of a mess.  Any tips/help would be appriciated.

awh sadly you havent dealt with the horror of 900 ping...

You got a VPN running in the background? I notice my ping increases slightly when I have it enabled. Or if not a VPN, perhaps some other background task is sucking up resources.

Bufferbloat is what's important, and you have a "-" there instead of a grade. No wonder you have issues.

I also don't have a "speed" grade.  What does this mean?  How to I help improve my bufferbloat? 

 

Is it a hardware issue on my end.  Such as my Modem/Router or possibly my motherboard?

 

Or is it even an issue with my ISP ?

Could be all of it. Try rebooting your router, modern etc.

Bought a new modem, didn't work.

But I've ran the test again and was able to get some results for bufferbloat.

Sometimes it will give me a grade for bufferbloat, sometimes not.  I have low bufferbloat while downloading but much higher when uploading.

Try limiting your speeds and retest. NetLimiter or inside the router.

well i have the same problem now i have an open nat type with really low ping(30ms) before and now my ping is at 250ms ive try'd port forwarding didn't work and now im starting ti hate the game
