Oh, derp, I have a Xbox PS4 pro, and a laptop

In researching how to do this for PS4, I think I've found the most elegant solution yet: https://help.elgato.com/hc/en-us/articles/360027959452-PlayStation-4-PS4-Game-and-Chat-Audio-with-Elgato-Game-Capture-HD

I'm looking at recording and uploading me and my friends shenanigans on siege, and I know I need a capture card to do so, but how could I also record my and their voices? Is this even possible?

It's more a question of how you want to do it.... so many possibilities. What is your setup now? What is your budget? How much of a wire nest can you live with?

Easiest way is probably to setup Mixer and have your friends in a party broadcast their audio - https://windowsreport.com/save-mixer-streams-xbox/

The Elgato capture cards use HDMI Passthrough to capture your gameplay, so anything you see/hear on screen will be captured by it.

At present I don't have a setup, I don't mind having some cables hanging around, I'll find somewhere to shove them probably. I'm not trying to do this professionally, just as a side thing for fun

You don't have an xbox, a PC, or a headset?
