Hello People!

Its my first time, so this might hurt...

I just finished building a new rig and I'm facing a problem. Even though the PSU is plugged in and turned on the system doesn't react to the powerbuttons press. Not a single LED will turn on. I tried shorting the power-switch pins on the MB. I plugged in in different outlets, nothing. Weirdly the wireless mouse is charging though. I made sure every plug is in all the way. And I know that the system should at least blink when it's got power on the 24 pin. Every part is new (but I guess not working properly). I am at a loss.

Pretty (male) princess asking for help.

Thank you

is the build inside your case or did you build outside the case first?

spec list helps too

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

Its inside a phanteks eclipse 400. I built it on an MSI MPG X570 with an AMD Ryzen 5 3600. PSU is a Corsair RM650. 16GB of G Skills Trident Z Memory and a 2060S from MSI.

since the RM 650 is modular, did you check the connections to the PSU as well?

Yes, more than once. I tried to switch out the RM 650 with a seasonic (something...) But I found out the hard way, that modular plugs don't match on the PSU end...

It didn't fit ??‍♂️

ok I'd look into RMA for the motherboard then, since I doubt you have a spare lying around

I had hoped, I don't have to take apart the whole thing again, but oh well. I'll try to fully switch out the Power Supply, maybe that will save me some time and shipping costs. The mainboard is next in line. Thanks for your help. Hope you have a nice day. ?
