Computer black screen

When i play Ark survival evolved, i get a black screen, my keyboard lights go out, and so does my mouse. If the fans are loud, they quiet down as well. However, the cpu fan still runs and while i cant see the gpu fan, I can assume that it is as well. What could be causing this issue? Unstable cpu overclock?

Can you at least get to inside the game content? If the drivers are OK etc etc, I know that, when it comes to ARK, doesn't matter the PC you have, it will make your GPU go to 100% usage lol. The game optmization is just awful. I am pretty sure that if you find a way to set up the FPS MAX to something like 30 before opening the game, you'll be able to play.

Trust me, I've been there, and I am running an ARK Server full of mods and my girlfriend ends up helping with their ark clients, this issue that you're facing is quite common.

Strange. My gpu never goes above 75% and its usually around 50%. I dont play on high settings because i PVP a lot and this never happened (or at least never happen this often) as it has been today. I cant play 30 minutes without a crash requiring me to turn off the psu and turn it back on.

Set all defaults if you think your oc is unstable. You want to test for the issue at stock to determine if you have an oc issue or something else.
