Recommendations for 1440p monitor or good wide curved 1080p monitor

Going to be purchasing a 980 ti and would like to upgrade my monitor to something better, any thoughts ?

was looking at a few 30+ inch ultrawide 2560 x 1080p 144hrz monitors. What are anyones thoughts on these ?

Don't go that wide on 1080p.

I cannot recommend a monitor because there are none in your price point.

 

If you're going ultrawide I'd recommend 3440x1440, however you'd need to double your budget.  I'd wait and save.

Is there one that isn't a ultrawide monitor that i would benefit from in that price range or wait ?

What's your definition of handle?

 

What graphic lvl and frame rate are you hoping to achieve.

i know on max/ultra settings @ 1080p it will get 100 + FPS as for 1440p i'm seeing between 40-60 FPS

it was either a graphics card and monitor upgrade or i was going to get a moderately priced gaming laptop with a 1660 ti card with a 1080p 144hrz display. This is still up in the air, as to not purchasing till about three weeks from now.
