New Ryzen 7 2700 build wont POST

Hi guys, I come to you totally desperate.  I just built a new pc with the following specs:

Ryzen 7 2700
MSI B450m Vdh pro max
Corsair Vengeance LPX 3000
SSD Crucial MX500
Evga Bq 600 w
Nvidia gtx 1070

All components are brand new and purchased from Amazon. (With the exception of the gpu that was bought a couple of years ago)

I built the system carefully (I have already built many pcs) so I am sure I have done it well. But pc wont post.

I have tried everything, including the guide with the 20 steps, but nothing. I'm sure the PSU is working perfectly.  I tried it on other computers.  So the culprits must be Cpu, ram or Mobo.

I also tried to swap parts with another pc that I have in my work: Ryzen 7 1700, B350f (latest bios update) corsair lpx 3200  bdie type. Here's what happen:

New R7 2700 on B350-F: not POST (vga debug led on board, but 1070 is correctly installed and working on other systems )
Old R7 1700 on MSI B450 : System dont POST (ram debug led on)
New LPX on B350f with 1700: not POST
Old LPX (bdie)  on B450 with 1700 or 2700: not POST (cpu debug led on)

So as you can see, none of the new parts work, even on the other PC that is fully funcional. Could someone give me an idea of what to do?  Can it be possible that all new  parts are defective?  A short or something similar can ruin all the components that way? Please help me.

The B350 needs bios updated to support the 2700x.

The B450 board is probably DOA.

This is my guess, because I'm Almost as confused as you are lol. I had to read it 3 times.

I know, it was difficult for me to summarize everything I had to do today with that pc.  I appreciate your opinion.  Btw the b350f has the latest bios update.  I updated it today to be able to do the 2700 tests, but it didn't work.

The chances that ALL of the hardware is bad IS possible, pretty bad odds, don't play the lottery tonight for sure.

However, a bad PSU could kill all the components......

Is it all from the same vender? If so return it all.

Yes.  All components were purchased at Amazon. The PSU is working great on other PC so I don't think it was the cause. I will try to make the return, but I wanted to see if there could be a solution. But you are right, perhaps it is best to return them and not place bets these days.

Maybe it's something related to how you're hooking everything up?

You could also try updating the BIOS on the B350 board and then trying the 2700X again.

Try it totally barebones, with only one stick of RAM, no storage devices, no USB devices, just CPU+Mobo+RAM+GPU if you haven't already.

CPU pins fine?

PSU cables properly connected?

Does it power cycle or nothing at all?

I updated the b350 bios to the latest avaliable. But same result : Not POST.

And yes. I also assembled the system on top of the mobo box. Just with psu, cpu, ram and gpu. But still not POST.

So you were able to update the BIOS of the motherboard, but you can't POST?

What do you mean, you can't POST?

What do you see or get?

Does your motherboard have error code?

Did you try 1 stick of RAM? Did you check the instruction manual on how to setup the RAM properly?

Hi, By POST I mean power on self test, you know, the regular process before Bios screen. And I was able to update the bios of the board b350f, because I did it with the CPU I use with that system: ryzen 1700. However, once updated to the latest version and when replacing the Cpu with the new 2700, the system wont POST or boot.

All I have is a black screen, and the fans of both the CPU and the Gpu spinning.

Both motherboards have an error notification led. But it is not very reliable or at least it gives me that feeling. Because, when I install the 2700 in the b350 f, the indicator LED shows VGA problem. But the graphics card is perfectly placed and connected to power. In the case of the msi b450, the white LED is on all the time indicating a CPU problem. Also occasionally the green LED lights up indicating RAM problem.
