Is threre such a thing? would be cool to be able to read SD cards without having to plug them on my phone. I used to own one of those on the old computer:

pc-3-5-inch-Floppy-disk-drive-Bay-intern

which is cool but i want the new fraktal r6 and realized it only has 1 bay... having second thoughts of replacing the r4 with it which has 2

Yes.  A few are even still sold. They were generally meant for 3.5” bays though and blu rays fit in 5 1/4” slots.  You’d need a 5 1/4”->3.5” adaptor.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Ah. So keep the Blu-ray drive and ADD a SD card reader.  Using only one slot.  Only thing would be a usb SDcard reader.  Less trouble than using your phone as a reader, maybe.  They’re cheap.
