EDIT: IM TRYING TO USE IT WITH A PC NOW its still not working

 

I bought one of these.

 

and it’s a long story but my friend has it and he’s testing if it works.

 

he has Samsung s8 and lighting iPhone cables.

 

it won’t work.

the compatibility list does not show android. usbc to audio requires drivers/software for it to work. if its not available, it wont work

Really? It said that it works. But case by case like model by model or literally differences between phones of the same model?

Where did it say it works with Android? I don't show it on the page you linked. I got the quote from an Anker rep that replied to the question on Amazon.

ohhhhh

 

appears i was reading the wrong thing

no problem, it was just being used with an s8 for testing. Ill get my friend to test it with something else and I will be using it with a pc anyway.
