Last week i have made an upgrade and bought an i9 9900k, and to my suprise now i have 90-100 fps. I have a friend with the same pc, only he is running an 9700k and plays on 2560x1080 and is averageing 120-140, same settings. I am running clean windows, latest bios and drivers, Bios defaults only xmp on. I dont get it, i thought i was gonna se and upgrade, but it seems.....

Well it could be your processor overheating. What cooling do you have?

I Use my knowledge as business owner and self taught technician aswell as an AI to help people. AI might be controversial but it actually works pretty well 90% of the time.

With you playing at higher resolutions your gpu matters more than your cpu, si i did not except huge fps increase. Since your gpu is strong there is something else going on here.

Since you know how to build a pc, i suppose that you have decent psu so it is not that either.

Do you monitor your cpu and gpu speed while gaming. If you have not altered your cpu speed its running lower speed when higher temps.

30 minute of gameplay, those are the temps and voltages.
