Hey guys! I was hopping to get a little guidance here. I am playing on upgrading to a Ryzen 3 3700x. I know the Zen3 is coming in 2020 but figured I would get the hard part out of the way now. So my biggest question I have is with the Ryzen temp "issues" I have been seeing around the web. I use my computer mainaly for heavy gaming since I have a 2080 RTX I want to be ready to max out Cyberpunk when it comes out in April among others coming out. Which cooler either Air or AIO would be recommended to keep this beast between the ~50 C and low ~60 C temp range under heavy gaming load?

The stock cooler is adequate for stock speeds, but if you want a beefier cooler for overclocking or for just lower temps and less noise, you could go for some good air coolers like the Noctua NH-D15 or Dark Rock Pro 4. In terms of water cooling, most 240mm or larger AIOs will do the trick if they're from a reputable brand.

EDIT: Note that water cooling, while more expensive, isn't always better than air cooling. the NH-D15 and Dark Rock Pro 4 perform the same (or in some cases even better) than an AIO liquid cooler.

Nice thanks for the quick reply, I was looking at the Dark Rock Pro 4. With the dark rock 4 pro, I was thinking of getting some corsair low profile LPX ram. Do you foresee any issues with the cooler and memory slots with that ram?

you can get the Noctua NH-U12S which is almost as good, cheaper and will definitely fit with your ram
