I am using a XFX Radeon Rx 5700 8GB GDDR6 when I try to update the drivers it causes the screen to go black. The monitor will no longer detect the computer and will go into sleep mode. What can I do?

There’s this old old joke where the patient says to the doctor “it hurts when I do this” and the doctor says “stop doing that”

doesn’t really work with drivers though.  I would say write a nasty note to AMD about it.  Give them the specs on your machine.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.
