"Old school" Windows XP build

I have an old Intel 540J ("Prescott" Pentium 4, 3.2GHz, 800MHz FSB, 1MB cache) and I was thinking about getting an ASRock G41C-GS for it. Would it be worth it, paired up with 4GB of RAM? I might but Vista on it, not entirely sure yet.

I'm happy just getting an SSD in my netbook. It's like a whole new computer...

So in effort of trying to keep this as cheap as possible, it's not gonna have a case. Not sure if I'm gonna use the onboard, or if I'll get lucky and find something on eBay that's a good deal.

Most Dell cases used that stupid BTX form factor. And I'm fine using it without a case. I might still have an old one hanging out somewhere.

Did you consider ASRock 775I65G R3.0 LGA 775 Intel 865G Micro ATX Intel Motherboard, if the memory stick from Zeus survives you could use it.

Yes, and I've had good luck with the board I chose (for a friend), so I think I'll stick with it.
