Finally got some money to get a new PC (currently on i5-7400/GTX 970), and will be doing gaming, developing, and dabbling in some video editing and possibly Cinema4D rendering.

Aside from the lack of storage (I have HDDs for days and can grab another SSD later), what are peoples thoughts on the following rig?

Looks good so far. Although, 3950X is going to be way interesting if you can find it.

Purify your Windows 10/11, don't give Microsoft anything that you don't want to share.

I had the 3950x in the build for soooo long, but trying to keep it under $4k lol. Would have to cut $300 somewhere to slip it back in.

Cut some on case. There are good budget variants with good airflow. +100 AUD. +200 and you have 3950X for 4K.
