Multiplayer/Co-op Horror Games?

Ive searched around the internet for a multiplayer/co-op horror game, cause me and my friends wants some spooks. But i havent found any good games yet.. Yall got any recommendations? games like DBD isnt really what kind of game im looking for, i know a lot of people recommend that.

Left For Dead 2 is a favorite for my friends and I. If you like the survival flavor, The Forest is awesome. You and your friends crash on a Cannibal infested island and have to survive. You get raided by cannibals, hunt down some boss like creatures, and stuff like that. Cool game all around.

Ive already played Left For Dead 1 and 2. But i dont really think that those are so called "horror" games, im looking for something more "INTENSE". As for The forest... Ive played it, i like it, but still, not the kind of "horror" im lookin for..

you say you want 'spooks' but I dont really know any game that is scary at all and fear from games is heavily subjective.

 

If you just want a good game with a zombie aspect or something play bo2/3 zombies or something.

Well i dont want the zombie spookiness. Horror games like being chased, up close jumpscares or just overall feeling like you're about to die around every little corner. Like u dont got any chance of escaping unless you hide, not like L4D where u just shoot ehm down.

whats wrong with dbd so I can find a game like dbd but without whatever you hate?
