Here is what i plan on building for myself : ( feel free to recommend different hardware )

Keep in mind i already have the ram, storage, psu, mouse and monitor.

I would like some case recommendations as i have no clue if i will go wit the meshify c.

Here is why i am posting this on here.

I am for the first time considering a full water cooled system but my friend who use to do that moved away. So i am a little stress with how hard this could be for me as i have never done it before and i am afraid to ruin anything as this is my dream system and it is going to cost me a whole lot. So should i keep it with a AOI for the cpu and just a solid gpu like the ftw3 and let it be ?

I am upgrading from a 2600 ryzen 5 paired with a rtx 2060 windfoce 3 fans that i will be selling to my brother in law for about 900$.

you can consider ryzen 3950 for that price and it would be better.

the G3 is flawed, get a different psu.

if you go for the ryzen 3950, get 3600 c16 ram.

samsung ssd's are overpriced, but if you have them already...

If i got ryzen 3950 shouldnt i go with the gen4 nvme drivers anyway ?

what psu would be recommended ?

any tips of the tops motherboard to get with a 3950 ?

It will be a 100% gaming system, does a 3950 make it worth it ?

Still, I wouldn't really recommend Intel.

Consider 3900x and 3950x as alternative options.

Samsung SSDs are way overpriced. You can get similar performance fr fraction of cost. Choose any one of the tier B NVMe SSDs.

G3 is flawed. Missing OCP, OVP, OPP and high inrush current. Check out other PSUs from tier A and B+.

Wouldn't really recommend kraken x72, I'd rather do with dark rock pro 4 or nhd15.

nope, it just has a worse functioning opp and otp, it's not completely lacking it

Still, I wouldn't recommend that unit.

So from what i understand a dark rock pro 4 ( i already have on cooling the 2600 ... yea its overkill but i got it for 50$ lol ) will it be fine for a 3950?

nope

So my understanding is that a higher speed cpu will be better for gaming that is why i was looking at the 9900k or maybe even the 10900 chip so i could hit 5hz or more. So why do everyone recommend ryzen as i am going to game only on that computer.

I understand that ryzen is all around better if you plan to do anything else then just gaming and it is also better value for money. Trust me my 2600 with the rtx 2060  is still kick ass in every game i play and i love amd. But i am trying to get the best of the best out of this system and will try to keep this for 2-3 years.

would you consider a fractal 360 AIO ? i prefer the looks of it and from what i read there have a nice cabla management for the fans.

I would like any other recommendation for a motherboard as the Asus one that you listed might be good but i am looking for something that will also be very attractive sitting on my desk.

That's nice so i could save some money with the cooler but my question is will i have to stick with some Corsair vengeance ram as the cooler is huge ? also i have a set of 3200 speed of that set of ram... should i resell them and go for higher sleep ?

So i guess for gaming i am sticking to a 9900k or a 10900k and i will cool it with my air cooler ?

Any case ideas ?

I will get a seasonic Psu i just found a great deal on one at a local store, it is 1000w plat.

I will look into better priced nvme drives but willing to take any propositions but would need to see good reviews.

This is the plan unless someone can convince me that for my purpose of gaming i will get better value with a ryzen 3900 or 3950 but from my base knowledge i wont.

Also i have a feeling that everyone is pretty much telling me to avoid watercooling lol.
