Hey guys, so I I'm building a pc and I'm over budget. I was thinking where I could reduce the price. My original plan wa to go with a V300 120gb ssd and a WD 500gb hd. Now I was thinking in getting a V300 30gb ssd (for the system itself) and a 500gb seagate sshd ( http://www.seagate.com/internal-hard-drives/laptop-hard-drives/laptop-solid-state-hybrid-drive/?sku=ST500LM000 ) It's for laptops, so will it work? What do you think?

30Gb will not be enough for much of anything. Unless you plan on only installing the os (which will only increase boot times) you will see that fill up immediately. The best use for an ssd would be for a cache or a full system install (including programs)

My System Specs: (Short list) i7 4770k, GTX 780, many SSD's, a 2 TB HDD(deceased :( ), Corsair 650D. Full list: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/kchriz6097/saved/8dh7YJ

Upgrade Plan: Acquire some Black Noctuas then add 16 or 32GB of 2133MHz memory

Do this if you don't have a large amount of files and can tolerate the 250Gb space.
