Remote Desktop Credentials

I am trying to work out why my Windows Remote Desktop credentials  are not saving on a computer. Before I go into the hassle of reinstalling the computer. Does anyone else have a possible solution i could try? I have tried this  See here

the remote server probably has set always prompt for login credentials in its domain (or local) managed group policy. this is recommended setting in the windows server security baseline.

 

not sure what your trying to do, but its not best security practice to save passwords inside rdp files.

its easy to gain access to the file through ntfs permissions and its not secure.

The  username and password saves on other computers though...

I saw this problem only on old XP home. It should be possible to save password on modern system, probably even home version.

Yeah i  Windows 10 Pro.  Just odd that one computer saves it all and the other doesn't
