I'm gonna need a new hard drive right NOW. My old WD black is beginning to fail and I need a new one.

 

Is a new 1tb Black better for my os and files or should i go with a 2 tb barracuda

2TB Barracuda. More storage, the bigger HDD will read/write data slightly faster, and it's cheaper per TB.

I would go with the 2tb Seagate Barracuda. I have one in my system, and have not had any issues with it. Highly recommend it.
