Hey all,

I have a problem with my laptop, it's a Toshiba l50-b-19q. When I press the power button it turns on but the screen stays black, when I use the HDMI output it says no signal. The HDD does spin up and the fan seems to work like normal. When I press the num lock or caps lock key the LEDs for the respective key does not light up.

I assume that the problem is a dead GPU but I'm not sure, I have confirmed that the HDD functions, do you guys have any idea what the problem may be?

Sincerely,

D148xZ

Key lights have nothing to do with the GPU.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.
