2080 super worth upgrade?

i have a 1070 ti and I'm saving up for a new GPU and i think the best option is the 2080 super, any advice or suggestions.

do i wait for price drops or do i even buy it?

 

current build: i7-9700, 32gb ram, 1070 ti, 600W psu

2080 super is around 40% faster than a 1070ti. Thats a significant upgrade if you ask me! Difference between 100fps and 144!
