Hello everyone!

I am going to build my first computer and wondering if i should Think of anything special. Watched alot of build guides and such. Just wondering if anyone has some Words of wisdom to share with me?

I also made a pcpartspicker list and dont know if they are the best Components for the job. so help would be appreciated: https://se.pcpartpicker.com/list/LsjH4n

I will use it for gaming and want to get 144fps on ultra Graphics (normal Graphics is fine on AAA games like shadow of the tomb raider or crisis).

Also, i have no other ryzen cpus so also wondering about the best way to upgrade bios. (getting this in pc partpicker: Some AMD B450 chipset motherboards may need a BIOS update prior to using Matisse CPUs. Upgrading the BIOS may require a different CPU that is supported by older BIOS revisions.) Best way to get that resolved?

It's fairly straightforward. Don't do anything to unnecessarily generate static electricity (play choo-choo train and drag your feet across carpeting, scratch your butt on the carpet, stick a fork in an electrical socket (but also for other reasons), ETC), and set to it. Leave yourself plenty of space. As always, POST check your system outside of the chassis before building it, other than that, just use whatever guide(s) you'd like. It's a lot like a much more expensive jigsaw puzzle. It'll take you a while the first time you do it, but that's not an issue at all.

You may be able to have a local retail outlet flash your bios to the most recent version (generally for a small fee), if it doesn't ship with it. It's possible (but not guaranteed) that the board you receive will have microcode that will allow you to boot with a 3000 series chip.
AMD also offers a "boot kit", should you like to do that.

If you'd like to save a little bit, from a gaming perspective, the Ryzen 5 3600 holds a better price/performance benefit.

If you're not desdset on having RGB on your memory, an LPX kit will give you better performance at a slightly lower cost

If you'd like RGB, i'd still encourage a 3600 kit, as it's accepted as the best sweet spot for Ryzen 3000

How much of a performance inpact would a ryzen 5 3600 have compared too a ryzen 7 3700x?

Thank you for taking the time to respond in such detail BTW! :D

Generally, fairly small, single digit FPS differences across the board.

Gamersnexus has an overview comparison of current offerings from Intel and AMD. I'd recommend giving it a watchthrough. Steve also has links to the 3900x and 3600 reviews in the comments of the above video.

If you want something a bit cheaper.

MSI board is better and works out of the box. Changed the case for one with better airflow but if you prefer the NZXT then your call on that. The RX 5700 XT is cheaper and is pretty close in performance to a 2070 Super.

You also have the AMD offer which is still running. The cpu and gpu have a free game.

You should be able to pick up windows cheaper. Try a trusted site that sell video game keys.

I have my computer so that i see it nomatter where in my room i am so i want a case i find pretty and so am sticking with the h700i.

I also use fetures that come with nvidia cards such as instant replay.

Also, where the f*ck do i find windows for cheap?

I have local retailers who will probebly do i biosflashback for less than 200kr so i Think im sticking with the same motherboard.

Also: Best way to ground myself? Do i need to ground myself?

Case is personal preference so no problem.

Sites like cjs-cdkeys or similar. I have bought game codes from them lots of times without any issue. Might be a bit of a grey area but cheaper than full price.

That Asus board isn't very good. The MSI Tomahawk is better.

I personally don't bother with grounding. Never had any issues.

You don't really need liquid cooling for the 3600. For the money you spend on that cooler, you can go for the 3700x with stock cooler for better performance.

Asus don't make great b450 boards. Either go msi b450 or asus x570.

The rest looks good.
