I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

@Fasauceome Change the SSD to MX500 if it's gonna be for OS. BX500 doesn't have DRAM

Also MoBo looks cheap and not very good, the mATX variant is Tier F on MOBO Tier List. Ryzen 5 3600 doesn't need x570 mobo so I would stick with a cheaper B450 Tomahawk/Tomahawk MAX. I've recently built a PC on it and it has good BIOS and good features. It has good VRM's (Tier C - The best of B450 mobos)

Slovenia

Ahh I see. Pcpp doesn't have a setting for Slovenia, so just bear that in mind that parts could be more expensive where you live than Germany which I will use in pcpp.

Just including it for the upgrade path, it fits the budget and gets that nice out of box compatibility.

OP could get B450 Tomahawk Max if he wants to save as much as possible

With the listed budget of 1600€, I didn't think saving as much as possible was a priority

Otherwise yes, the tomahawk is a great motherboard

Ok a few caveats about the above, first and foremost are the prices, they could be significantly more, so tried to keep your budget as low as possible:-

  • You might still be able to fit 3700x if you really want it.
  • Have put High end air cooler, rather than AIO as people seem to prefer them. You could possibly get away with keeping the stock cooler if you want to though.
  • B450 mortar max should already be Ryzen 3000 ready, but if you can, ask the seller to confirm.
  • Have included a 240GB NVME as boot/OS only (you can however get a SATA boot drive for less if you want. For game storage Have gone SSD AND HDD, so pick which you want or keep both, depending on if you are OK swapping between long term storage (HDD) and in use storage (NVME), or not.
  • 5700XT may be a bit faster in some games... but kept it at 2060 super as requested. Price difference is negligible, so swap if you prefer.
  • Chose Lancool II for case, but choose something else if you prefer.
  • Chose a good quality PSU, I wouldn't go too low end on this part as IMO it's essential to have a good one.

Oh, yeah change mobo to Tomahawk/max if you prefer full ATX... I try to keep to m-ATX unless full ATX is required, as I personally prefer because I might swap into smaller case when upgrading in the future.

And lancool isn't in stores yet, but should be very soon... so will need to add around 80-100 euros for that too.

Why are you going with only 2060 Super? I think that ~1500€ Gaming PC should have a 2070 Super. Ryzen 3600 and 3700x can handle even 2080 Super but it's not really in budget

That's what the OP wanted... he can choose a better GPU if he wants. You have to factor in though that we don't know what the parts cost or availability is gonna be in Slovenia too though.

Ah ok, but I think it was his "first" pick and more balanced performance would be if he picked 2070Super

It's another factor that is a game changer, but we can provide him some samples and he will choose from them :P
