Hi everyone,

Just curious if anyone else here has tried 'AMD Link' and your experience with it. For the most part, it streamed mostly lag free over my wifi network and through my galaxy s8 phone. However, the issue I was running into was trying to use a first gen xbox one controller that I didn't realize doesn't have bluetooth capability. I was able to get a nintendo switch controller to (kind of) work via bluetooth but the button delay made virtually everything unplayable. Now, if I were to purchase a usbc to mini usb adapter, would the xbox controller work directly plugged into my phone and be fairly responsive?

I'd also love to find a way to stream it to my phone and through my phone to my TV. I've tried using Samsung 'smart mirror' (I think that's what it's called) but it was a stuttering mess.

AMD link has been brilliant for me.

Steamlink, to my Apple TV and even wired to steam hardware over gigabit LAN has 60+ms latency.

AMD link over wireless to my Apple TV has 20-25ms and even rocket league is almost playable! Other games like Terraria run as if I was on my PC.

I am ditching Steamlink for most places, sadly my bedroom still has the Steamlink hardware so I would like to find a way to make it work.

Well done AMD for beating Steam at their own game!

Have you by chance tried 'Parsec'? AMD link works 'okayish' for me but parsec seems to run a lot smoother.

Is it possible to stream to another PC with AMD link?

I think it only works from one PC to a device with the app. I have only used it to play games on my iPad and Apple TV from my PC. 20ms latency is fit for most medium paced games.

Bummer. I may try this with a rpi3 connected through the ethernet port. For some reason, it wasn't great with my S8 phone via wifi.

Only games downloaded from steam seem to be working for me, Ubisoft and origin sourced games don't respond to any input from my controller

Im currently using parsec and it seems to work quite well with various input devices, if your network speeds are sufficient.
