Hello,
I would like to switch from my laptop (i5 6300U, 16 GB RAM a GTX950) to a PC. The primary usage is gonna be Premiere Pro. Max 4K, H265, efects around on 50% of footage. The biggest problem now is with rendering during editing, or live view. Everything is very slow. Export times are irrelevant, I am rendering in night.
I already have a case, power supply and 256 GB SATA SSD, and I would like to have 4 TB HDD.
The questions are:
  1. what CPU+Mobo+RAM to choose?
  2. will it benefit from a GPU in any way? If so, which one to pick?
  3. Will another SSD help as a scratch drive?
I already read some articles on Puget Systems, Intel should be faster thanks to QuickSync, but it doesnt meant I dont want AMD.
I have two variants: R7 3700X + B450 + 32 GB 3200 CL16 or 9700K + Z390 + 32 GB 3200 CL16But I really dont know about the GPU.
The budget shoul be around 900 - 1250 USD foŕ CPU+MB+RAM+GPU if needed.
Thanks
