this is my build I’m about to build and I was wondering if this cooler https://pcpartpicker.com/product/84MTwP/noctua-nh-d15-chromaxblack-8252-cfm-cpu-cooler-nh-d15-chromaxblack would fit in my case? Also is this https://pcpartpicker.com/product/shNypg/noctua-nh-d15-se-am4-1402-cfm-cpu-cooler-nh-d15-se-am4 the same thing because it’s $10 cheaper and will ship faster. Thanks. Also does the thermal paste that comes on my cpu good or should I buy some to replace it?

Aesthetics stuff aside, the AM4 version has bigger base plate for better cooling (since the standard version has base size meant for the smaller Intel LGA115x CPUs).

About to buy. One other thing I heard was that the fan was heavy and could damage my cpu. Is that true or is it just people who are rough moving their pc? Thanks a ton

that's impossible, the fans hang onto the heatsink which is mounted to the motherboard. It only presses down onto the CPU which is totally fine

There's not much difference between 2080 and 2080S, so might as well save the $100 there.

 

Removed Samsung SSDs for more competitive options

 

Changed to cheaper case fans for similar performance (could buy 2 more for the top)

 

Changed the board, Prime Pro is just TUF in white with Intel LAN instead of Realtek
