Can the job of lawyer/attorney be ever interesting?

 

Maybe I just cannot understand the whole thing, but surely they don't take on the jobs because they like the whole process?

 

Or am I missing something?

It can be interesting if you fight for what you believe. (only guessing of course. Never been a lawyer).

I know several people in law school and they love it. Remember that some people think computers are boring as well. Just cause you find no interest in it doesn't mean it's universal

Of course it can be interesting, you meet new people everyday, you work on different cases, I don't see why it wouldn't be interesting.

same reason people want to be dentists. Because they like it.

Well...you did sign up to get a degree and job,so you should know that there's a high chance that you have to take someone to court, and fight against someone else.  So yeah...not sure how to put it.

My mother is a lawyer and she loves it, hard work though, and the majority of the time it's paper work. 

It's a good solid career though, and to have the opportunity to be a partner in the law firm would be amazing. 

 

Some lawyers don't do it solely for the money, some do it to protect the people that don't have a voice, like public attorneys or whatever they're called.
