Over the past two weeks my pc has been getting blue screens fairly regularly, like multiple every hour. My pc worked just perfectly for 1-2 months before this started happening and I can't pinpoint anything that changed in my setup, no weird things installed and no hardware changes.

Here are my pc specs.
Motherboard: AsRock x570 Steel Legend
CPU: AMD ryzen 5 3600
GPU: Nvidia RTX 2070 Super
RAM: Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 2x8 GB DDR4-3200
HDD: Intel 660p Series 1TB m.2 SSD
PSU: Cooler Master MWE Gold 750 Full Modular
OS: Windows 10

Here is a speccy list

Here is a list of the BSOD errors I have gotten over the last 3 or so weeks.
1. PAGEFAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA
2. KERNEL_AUTO_BOOST_LOCK_ACQUISITION_WITH_RAISED_IRQL
3. DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
4. KERNEL_AUTO_BOOST_INVALID_LOCK_RELEASE
5. MULTIPLE IRP_COMPLETE_REQUESTS
6. KERNEL_STACK_LOCKED_AT_EXIT
7. KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE
8. SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION 9. APC_INDEX_MISMATCH
10. KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED
11. ATTEMPTED_EXECUTE_OF_NOEXECUTE_MEMORY
12. MEMORY_MANAGEMENT
13. REFERENCE_BY_POINTER
14. UNEXPECTED_KERNEL_MODE_TRAP
15. KERNEL_APC_PENDING_DURING_EXIT
16. KERNEL_LOCK_ENTRY_LEAKED_ON_THREAD_TERMINATION

As you can see its quite a list and by googling all of them multiple times I still can't come up with a solution. Here are the things I've already tried during troubleshooting.

  • Run windows memory diagnostics, came up with no problems.
  • Run windows disk diagnostics like chkdsk, came up with no problems.
  • Use the pc with only 1 of the 2 ram stick at a time, still had the same blue screens.
  • Spend a lot of time updating every single driver I have, this did not seem to fix anything.
  • Updating the bios version from 1.10 to 2.20 for my motherboard, did not seem to fix anything.
  • Reinstalled windows through a usb, did not seem to fix anything.
  • Kepping windows completely up to date during the troubleshooting.
  • My pc temperatures seem normal so I don't think there is a problem with heat.

I don't have any spare pc parts lying around so I can't swap any parts out to see if they are defective. The crashes seem to happen most when I do something video heavy like running netflix on one screen and youtube on another both on chrome. But it has also happened when just logging into windows so I can't pinpoint any particular action that causes the crash.

I would really like some help on what to do next because I don't know what to do. Thanks in advance, sorry for the long post.

Anything overclocked? when you get random BSODs your culprit is either RAM or CPU. Cant check out your link as its blocked my me on my network.

RAM sticks breaking at the same time is quite low.

Doesn't take both, only one will do it.

Test your RAM with MemTest.

Well I ran the PC with just 1 RAM stick and the errors were still there so either both sticks are broken or neither are broken

And you won't know until you test your RAM...

Ok I am now running memtest86 although I'm not sure if I can run it completely as I know it can take a very long time

Minimum 24 hours, or 1 complete pass. But to be honest, I let it run for multiples passes, especially if I suspect the RAM is flaky.

I ran a complete test and it showed no errors.

Also what might be interesting is that when I ran driver verifier my pc did not crash a single time.

So... it's behaving now, or still going stupid on you?

" 3. DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL "

Usually due to the RAM needing a tad more volts to fully stabilize it.

Commonly seen error and as described the normal way to fix is give the RAM a bump in voltage, could be caused by other things too such as improper timings but that's the norm for dealing with it.

"11. ATTEMPTED_EXECUTE_OF_NOEXECUTE_MEMORY
12. MEMORY_MANAGEMENT "

Largely the same as well but could also be due to RAM timings being off for the speeds they are running, ususally too tight or just wrong if manually tweaking.  In truth it's more likely with these two errors it is due to a RAM timing problem than needing voltage.

Little bit of an update. After a ton of troubleshooting I have concluded that the blue screens were caused by one of the ram sticks. However, when using the other ram stick on its own there seem to be no blue screen crashes but some applications do crash somewhat frequently. Would like some advice on how to further investigate.

Looks as if you've narrowed it down to the RAM as I had suspected you would.

Are these the ones you have?

https://www.newegg.com/corsair-16gb-288-pin-ddr4-sdram/p/N82E16820236417

To verify the actual condition of the sticks be sure they are within stock spec's/tolerance with timings and rated voltage - Then test to check stability that way.

Next - If you haven't already, give the sticks a small voltage bump, make sure they are getting at least 1.40v's and be sure the DRAM voltage is set manually, not by "Auto" so you know it should be giving them what you want them to receive.

Retest and see if there is any difference.

If they still crash at that point you can say you have a defective/dying set of sticks, only remedy at that point would be to replace the set.

The set should run just fine with 1.40v's used at what's otherwise stock specs and if they don't it's a truly defective set based on the stock 1.35v spec for them.

Since it looks like yours is a recent build, I'd think RMA shouldn't be a problem.
