Hey everyone, first time posting here!

I got myself the AOC AGON AG352UCG6 monitor.

When trying to check its color performance using my Datacolor Spyder5Elite i get very bad (for VA-panels) contrast ratios.

The measured contrast ratio is at around 950:1 when it should be more around 2500:1 to 2000:1 acording to the spec and most reviewers.

I tried to play around with the OSD to set different color profiles or try out the presets like the S-RGB mode.

The measured contrast ratio never got above 1000:1, which is really bad for VA-Panels i guess?

Am i doing something wrong with the OSD settings or is something wrong with the hardware itself?

I didnt notice it myself before because i never had a high-contrast Display before.

Now i dont want to miss out on it because i paid 850€ for this monitor and obiously want to take advantage of all of its features...

The monitor i had before was just a generic 27" 1080p 60Hz TN-Panel i bought for 150€ at the local electronics store.

I hope anyone can help me or at least tell me whats wrong (or what i'm doing wrong)...

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.
