Surface Pro battery time remaining missing!

Recently picked up a surface pro 7 in the boxing day sales to replace my dell xps. Really happy with it so far, however I've one issue. The time remaining on battery life is missing. If I hover the mouse over the battery icon and or click it, it just gives me the percentage. Windows setting says theres nothing to report on the battery there. Bios has no settings either like many other posts have suggested on a similar issue.

Might be a Windows related issue, from all I know my laptop sometimes says how much time I have left, sometimes it doesn't. There isn't really much you can do about it.

What I'd recommend is going to Microsoft Support as they have live chat and have helped me on many occasions when I had issues in windows.

I actually found the solution in the end. It was a registry issue.
