Will this cooler fit with this motherboard?

Will this NZXT 280MM be small/ large enough for my case. My case is very very big but im just concernedSomeone said the NZXT Kraken was better than the h100i so i picked that and changed my mobo, I have a msi trio 2080 ti and z270-k prime i7 6700k at the moment,

Yeah, the NZXT X62 fits all the difference 115x sockets, including 1151 which you chose.

check if it fits in your case, some cases only support 240mm radiators

I personally would go with amd over the 9700k at this time, you’re spending a lot for the brand tax, but as for compatibility your 100% fine at the moment.

i just want maximum fps after watching a lot of benchnarks i seen that the 9700k always pulls ahead

The only game I’ve seen it pull ahead is cs:go

the 3700x is like 1% slower for like $100 less. And it has multithreading, so actually more performance in newer titles.
