5700xt Reference vs GIGABYTE

Planning on using a 5700xt with a Ryzen 5 3600, and on AMD’s site, the AMD’s reference blower design is $525 CDN and comes with a free game (borderlands 3 or ghost recon Breakpoint).  I’ve heard bad things about the blower design and it’s noise and heat issues, but is it worth spending an extra $50 to get the GIGABYTE card (sold without a free game) if I’m gaming at 144hz at 1080p?

It depends how much noise is an annoyance to you... the Gigabyte Gaming OC is very silent, the Reference is fairly loud.

Oh I forgot to say I’ll be running at stock speeds, also I’m not quite sure about noise.    This is my first ever pc build.  I’ve used an Xbox for all my life, but I’m not quite sure how a gaming pc compares in noise with a console.

That entirely depends on every single component, except the RAM, that you put in your system.
