Yes, welcome to the advent of DDR memory circa 1998. Or to go further back I believe there was an IDE spec that did that also, on the rising and falling edges of the 'wave'.

 

Ok, did my re-learning. Ultra ATA did the rising and falling edge of the wave trick for clock pulses as did AGP, so the trick goes back further than DDR memory in 1998.
