I have a question. Would it be possible to hook up multiple GPUs to a single monitor, kind of like what Linus did in his video “We THOUGHT This $40,000 PC Would Break Records,” but with modern gaming GPUs? This would have great potential for 8k TVs, and might help games perform better in 8k. I’ve looked all over but couldn’t find a solution. Thanks!

Not really.

The closest you can get is Nvidia multi-gpu checkerboard rendering, which isn't implemented everywhere and is still pre-release.

No, that's Quadro only feature for Nvidia and AMD's eyefinity is not like this.
