Is gameworks still a thing?

I've been considering buying a new GPU for a while now, and I was looking at nvidia and AMD options. I'm tempted by AMD cards, but am worried that this will mean I can't use features like txaa, HBAO+ and other such gameworks features. Is this somthing I still need to consider, or do AMD cards now perform these functions fine?

You can use gameworks features you listed, turning them on just worsens AMD performance more than Nvidia stuff. The way you're describing them sounds like you havent been in this circle for a long time though. Nvidia has pretty much moved over to tech that AMD cards simply cant use like DLSS and RTX realtime raytracing.

They drop your framerate by 4 or 5 instead of 3 or 4 when running at above 144FPS. Minimal performance difference.
