Motherboard help

Go to solution Solved by minibois,

From the BIOS update notes I don't see that. The 3200G is even on its QVL, with a GPU speed mentioned too; so can't imagine the iGPU not working on that CPU+board combo.

But I would recommend a simple B450 board anyways, like a B450 Aorus M would even work fine.

Will I be able to make use of an iGPU ( 3200G) once I update the bios on this motherboard ( Gigabyte A320M S2H AMD Ryzen Socket AM4 Micro-ATX Desktop Motherboard) to the required bios ? I've heard people say that you can't use the hdmi port once you update the bios to the required bios that supports the 3000 series

To add to this, a B450 board is better than an A320 because even if you don't care about any extra I/O or features, it enables overclocking the processor, which could be useful in the future. Additionally, it has a higher chance of supporting future processors. A hypothetical 4400G which you might want to upgrade to some day will have a higher chance of being supported on B450 than A320.

I dont see why the video output wont work after a BIOS update, because that's considered a bugged one that should not see the light of day.
