FreeSync and Gsync

Are they doing exactly the same thing ?, I'm planning on buying a new gaming rig and I do want to get and Nvidia RTX 2080 the problem is Gsync monitors aren't much in my country and it might be tough to get one within the budget,

 

So is really important to have freeSync or Gsync If I couldn't get a hold on one of the Gsync monitors is the FreeSync worth to shift to AMD cards ?

 

also what is Better LED or ISP or PSI don't really know the difference between them

Nvidia cards starting from 10 series now works with Freesync

2070 and 2080 are 20 series, but they, as later GPUs, also support Freesync
