Hi, I've just switched from HDMI to VGA using DVI to VGA adaptor.

My monitor resolution is 1920 x 1080, but now there's a back bar at the right side of the screen.

I can also see vertical stripes down the screen. Any ideas of how to fix this?

My graphics card: EVGA GTX 1050 TI SC

I think the problem is I have a wide screen monitor.

Edit: I have seen other users with HDMI to DVI, so perhaps that will work.

VGA was never designed for these resolutions, so that could be the issue. A good GPU + cable should be able to do it though. DVI, HDMI or DisplayPort are the better options though.
