DRM really just hurts consumers that have legitimate things that they want to do with the content that they legally purchased. The harder they try, the harder people push back with efforts to defeat it. When will they learn, to think with their heads, not think of the profits?

 i think it's a process & you shouldn't be bothered by costs relating to this(entertainment) , as it's a permanent passive upgrade for all future buys.

 

drms are kinda stupid ,  i would love for studios to release content that you can copy out easily, but there has to be hurdles to at-least prevent basic exploitation since certain work is involved in creating content.

 

 it's the same as with buying additional speaker or getting a new receivers & modifying the system like for example latest atmos decoding & buying a new HDR10 display for brighter picture quality. it's a bit burden but worth it.
