GPU Dead?

Actualy mate it is renamed as 6570....and check the bios settings for pci if the bios shows up..

i got it out of anothe computer

Ok so i booted my pc up in safe mode with my 7970 in and its not all green and black ? What do i do now ?

 

Go to Add, Remove Programs (Control Panel) and remove all gpu related drivers - http://support.amd.com/en-us/kb-articles/Pages/GPU57RemoveOldGraphicsDrivers.aspx. Reboot. Then reboot again before installing a new set of drivers.

Thanks to everyone who tried to help me but none of it work i ended up just having to restore my pc to factory setting thanks again

Use AMD uninstall utility for drivers..

Oky...keep in mind to wear an anti-static band while installing or removing components from ur pc...
