Ryzen 5, cheap off eBay you can get the 1600 and the like. Affordable B450 boards are all the rage for budget gamers, the ASRock B450M Pro4 is a great call at the low end. Any cheap DDR4 3000 or whatever speed higher you'd like to spend extra on would do nicely.

You could probably sell your graphics cards and get yourself a GTX 1070 or something similar.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

I dont really know, only playing on a 1920x1080 screen and would like to play over 60 fps on newer games atleast

your FX should be the first to go, swap it out for a ryzen 2600-3600+SLI capable board (unless you have enough to upgrade your GPU with the CPU).

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X Heatsink: Gelid Phantom Black GPU: Palit RTX 3060 Ti Dual RAM: Corsair DDR4 2x8GB 3000Mhz mobo: Asus X570-P case: Fractal Design Define C PSU: Superflower Leadex Gold 650W

im thinking of these two maybe either:

1x Intel Core i5-9400F Processor

1x ASUS ROG Strix B360-F Gaming, S-1151

1x HyperX Fury RGB DDR4 16GB 2666MHz (2x8GB)

OR

1x AMD AM4 Ryzen 5 2600

1x ASUS ROG Strix B450-F GAMING, Socket-AM4

1x HyperX Fury RGB DDR4 16GB 2666MHz (2x8GB)

what do? ryzen one is like 370 dollars and intel one is 430 dollars ( give or take its in swedish crowns so)
the intel has a bit better performance in some games, but its intel i mean they are pretty cashhungry compared to AMD at the moment, and what about upgrade potential from there? on either boards i mean.

Because why not

the 2600 and 9400F are evenly matched now, but reviewers are noting that the i5s are stuttering again as compared to the ryzen 2600/3600 CPUs. neither of those boards support SLI so you'll only be able to use one 780.

this is compatible with eachother, doesnt matter with SLI, SLI is a dead gimmick imo...

motherboard might be incompatible with CPU m8.

it's been almost 2 years since the BIOS for zen+ CPUs was released on the X370-F, they're not gonna have stock that old to warrant having to worry about compatibility. Even if it wasn't, AMD offers bootkits specifically for this situation.
