Has anyone ever seen or used the Silverstone Sugo 11 chassis as a NAS case? I am thinking of moving from the nod 804 to the Sugo 11.

I know I would be lowering the amount of drives, but I am only using 5 and will be expanding the drive size. I am looking at a smaller footprint and might be moving my main rig to the Node 804. What are your thoughts?

what drives are you using in the 804?

the SG11 only supports up to 3 3,5" drives, but 9 2,5" drives. so i don't think 5 regular NAS drives would fit the SG11

Currently I am using four 1tb 3.5" drives and one 4tb 3.5" drive (four for storage and one for parity. I am using unraid). If I go with the Node 804 for my main rig I can use those existing 3.5 drives. In the SG 11 I will use two 3.5" drives for parity and the rest will be 2.5" and I would use a caddy to make the 5.25 into multiple 2.5 drives and turn the third 3.5" slot into two 2.5" for a total of at least 13 2.5" drives. At a minimum of 1tb per drive that gives me 13tb which can be filled after a few years. I have not even filled 4tb of space... yet.

What I like about the idea is that if I get ride of my Haf XB EVO, I will gain space.
