I am so confused right now.

How is the Blue Yeti microphone a DAC/AMP?

How is the Blue Yeti microphone a DAC/AMP?

It has a monitoring feature, i.e. a 3.5mm on the mic to listen to it. 

But it depends on the headphones you have, if you have your average pair of Sennheisers or M50's the answer is no.

If you change the sound settings in windows you can get your windows sound through the yeti, thus acting as a dac.

Skype loves to use my Yeti as the speakers when I'm starting a call.
