Yikes... Xubuntu should support your graphics chipset. I was going to suggest getting an X1650 pro, but that would be if you had a 350+ watt... Maybe look into a GeForce FX 5200 AGP 128MB? eBay is a good place to get those.

 

EDIT: You'll have to do an OS reinstall though.

How do I install adobe flash. I think that's the problem. I don't have the plugin for Firefox.

When you open the software center, search for adobe flash, click install, and wait for it to install and download. Then you're all set.
