AMD Adrenaline 2020 higher memory clock

So maybe i'm just a bit dumb here, but on the old AMD software my gpu could handle 890Mhz for the memory before getting artifacts. Now I installed Adrenaline 2020 and it's stock at 1750.

In HW Monitor it also said 890 before. What is going on? Is it because some 2 memory module stuff?

Depends on what GPU you have

SuperPi (v1.5 from Techpowerup, PI value output) 16K: 0.100s 1M: 8.255s 32M: 7m 45.93s

then it's a bug fix, actual operating frequency is about 1.5-2GHz for GDDR6

that's probably it

Before it was reporting the memory clock before it doubled, now it's reporting the clock after doubling. 875/1750 is the AMD driver default for the 5700's.
