Rosewill Nighthawk Z RGB

CYoung24

Hi!

I recently bought the Rosewill Nighthawk Z RGB full tower case for my build and from what I've seen on Newegg, the manual does not show how to set up, or even use the RGB functions on the fans. I have looked all over the internet for reviews for this case (in video form), and none seem to exist. So I decided to look for a Rosewill case forum of some sort, and to my dismay found none. Now I am here, on the LTT forum page, because Linus is who I've gone to for these kind of things, and am asking anyone if they can give an honest review of this case, and also, give me an explanation of how the RGBs on the fans are supposed to function?

Thank You.

Case:

Rosewill NIGHTHAWK Z-RGB (https://www.newegg.com/p/N82E16811147291)

Motherboard:

MSI B450 GAMING PRO CARBON AC

Does this case have an integrated fan controller or does it want you to use your mobo?

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.

Plug the fan rgb header to the controller. Plug the controller to the motherbaord.

Plug the fans to the controller/ motherboard.

If you still need this, your Rosewill fan hub is this:

https://www.rosewill.com/product/120mm-true-rgb-led-case-fans-3-pack-and-8-port-fan-hub-ultra-quiet-cooling-with-long-life-rifle-bearings-rosewill-rgbf-s12001-dual-ring-addressable-rgb-case-fan-hub-set/

And the manual for how to use it is here:

https://www.rosewill.com/download/rgbf-s12001_usermanual_a-pdf/

This is a decent quality no-frills case. Much larger than I will ever need, but still, that just means the case temperature is very low.
