m.2 headsink help advice

Hi so i have Intel 660p M.2 2280 512GB PCI Express 3.0 NVMe Internal Solid State Drive Rev:4.00 now on the top their of m.2 their is huge sticker as you can see from this pic.

So can I ask how how does this heat sink work with huge sticker on it?

This was drive i picked up off ebay for £50 and it was really good buy but can i ask how does the heat sink work with the sticker at the top?

Depends on the sticker some like the Samsung drives are actually thick copper foil to act as a heat spreader. For those you can peel off the sticker to get better contact but note that most “void” the warranty if you do so.

Yes I know I dont want to void this drive through I did buy from ebay and its very new drive.

I have this SSD with a heatsink, slapped it right on without taking off the sticker, it's okay.

the bottom sticker is fine, the one ontop of it with the extra data you might wanna peel of, that looks like a regular paper sticker an aftermarket vendor put over top it and that might actually do something.

It was pulled out of hp laptop and the date of 2019/08/09 is the date on the sticker. Very new drive and V4.

Some companies, say that removing the sticker will void warranty
